About The Position

Under close supervision, this position will assist with customers on providing transportation/logistics services. Key Responsibilities include gaining exposure and understanding of basic transportation management principles, participating in daily operational tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, Customer Value Delivery, logistics management/analysis, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination. The intern will also gain understanding of industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention, perform pertinent account-specific duties as required by the customer, and other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
GED (Required)
High School (Required)

Willingness to work flexible hours
Junior or Senior level preferred

Responsibilities
