About The Position
The Operations and Gallery Specialist assists in managing systems and workflows to support the services of the Michael C. Carlos Museum. This position serves as a primary information source at the point of entry overseeing the museum visitor experience, while providing gallery and facility access.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of experience in customer service, facility security, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of computer skills, visitor services, and safety protocols is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provides exemplary customer service to visitors, including directional and informational assistance, membership enrollment, and cash management.
- Assists with student Gallery Attendant training.
- Provides support as needed for museum events, projects, and promotions.
- Ensures safe and secure spaces and the protection of art works.
- Performs other related duties as required.
