About The Position

As an operations analyst, you’re passionate about exploring the root cause of an issue and then analyzing, reporting, and developing recommendations for a creative solution. We need a research analyst like you to help us solve complex problems for our clients. On our team, you’ll assist in budgetary, force structure, and military capability evaluations to help deliver solutions. You won’t go at it alone. You’ll work alongside a team to conduct research, prepare graphs and charts, and analyze and interpret programmatic and cost data of a wide variety of defense programs. Once documented, you’ll help develop findings to present results, collaborate with stakeholders, and participate in various program meetings to improve program efficiency. In this role, you’ll use your passion for analytics and statistics to help devise modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques, and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines. Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in a military or operations research field such as U.S. current military operations, munitions, readiness, and deployment routines covering air, space, ground, special operations, and maritime domains, in Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE), in force or capability development within the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS), or in intelligence collection and analysis for Allies & Partner capabilities and requirements, near-peer adversary capabilities, threat modeling, and operational environments
  • 8+ years of experience working with DoD stakeholders to collect, maintain, and refine complex datasets, including force structure modeling, operation readiness, and global logistics data
  • Experience interfacing with clients
  • Experience in Structured Query Language (SQL) to manage and query logistics and force inventories, personnel readiness databases, and intelligence reports
  • Experience creating solutions within a collaborative, cross-functional team environment
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with technical writing, including using a strong active voice
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts such as statistical analysis, trends, and design of experiments in layman’s terms
  • Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, or a Mathematics or Statistics field
