About The Position

The Associate Operations Finance Business Partner is responsible for supporting the financial activities of the operational business groups and their project management teams. Under the guidance of their leader, this individual will assist with financial analysis, reporting, and operational support. This role builds foundational knowledge of project profitability and financial controls.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
1-5 years of related experience in finance or accounting.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Strong attention to detail.
Willingness to learn.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assists in preparing financial analysis to support business strategies, focusing on project profitability and performance.
Supports providing financial insights to project management and operational leaders.
Aids in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for operational groups, gathering and organizing data as directed.
Helps monitor financial results, tracks variances, and identifies trends, escalating findings to a senior partner for review.
Prepares and maintains financial reports to support operational decision-making.
Assists with day-to-day financial processes, including data entry, report generation, and ensuring the accuracy of financial information.
Supports the monitoring of project cash flow metrics and assists in basic profitability analysis.
Performs ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as requested by the Operations Finance Business Partner.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
