About The Position

The Operations Execution Coordinator supports Maintenance and Completions by managing, consolidating, and translating program data into actionable operational insight. This role is responsible for developing multi-week lookaheads, maintaining Line of Balance (LOB) accuracy, and coordinating with Planning and Scheduling to ensure alignment between the production floor and program schedules. The position is focused on execution readiness and operational alignment. It is not a program management or scheduling ownership role. The objective is to remove the burden of data mining from Maintenance leadership and enable timely, informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Aviation Management, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent combinations of education and relevant operational experience may be considered.
  • 3–5 years of experience supporting operations, maintenance, production planning, scheduling, or execution coordination within other complex operational environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, reporting, and spreadsheet management
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project and schedule interpretation
  • Ability to interpret structured operational data and translate findings into actionable operational insight
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and reporting integrity
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills across operational, technical, and leadership teams
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and execution gaps proactively
  • Strong collaboration and coordination skills with cross-functional teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while supporting team objectives
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, use hands to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and have close/color vision ability to adjust focus.
  • US Citizen Required - this position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Nice To Haves

  • Six Sigma, Project Management, or other operational certifications are considered a plus.
  • Experience in aviation maintenance, MRO, aircraft completions, manufacturing, or production environments preferred
  • Familiarity with Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and Line of Balance (LOB) methodologies preferred
  • Experience supporting planning, scheduling, production control, or program execution activities preferred
  • Exposure to PMO reporting structures, operational metrics, and execution tracking systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain 2–6 week operational lookaheads using WBS, IMS, and LOB data
  • Identify execution constraints, sequencing conflicts, schedule risks, and readiness gaps
  • Coordinate with Planning and Scheduling teams to validate task readiness, including materials, manpower, tooling, access, engineering, and prerequisite completion
  • Provide forward-looking operational visibility to support execution efficiency and production flow
  • Maintain and update LOB data to accurately reflect real-time execution status and production progress
  • Update LOB metrics and status during production, operations, and program review meetings
  • Ensure alignment between LOB, Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), and actual floor conditions
  • Monitor variances between planned and executed work and communicate discrepancies to leadership
  • Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from MS Project, Excel trackers, PMO reporting tools, and operational systems
  • Translate complex program data into concise operational summaries and actionable insights, including: Upcoming work scope and priorities, Tasks not meeting readiness criteria, Schedule risks, blockers, and execution impacts
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and briefing materials for production meetings, leadership reviews, and operational planning discussions
  • Support data accuracy, reporting consistency, and operational transparency across functions
  • Serve as a liaison between Planning, Scheduling, Production, and Maintenance organizations
  • Validate execution readiness and resolve discrepancies impacting production flow
  • Escalate schedule conflicts, execution risks, and operational misalignment to appropriate leadership
  • Support the Director of Maintenance and Completions leadership team with timely, accurate, and actionable operational data
  • Reduce leadership time spent gathering and reconciling production data
  • Drive improved operational awareness and execution alignment across functional teams
