About The Position

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is experiencing significant global growth, aiming to revolutionize customer interactions and solve major logistical challenges. The Process Engineering team is seeking an Operations Engineer to own a process/product roadmap and drive the vision for the next generation of AMZL delivery stations. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage end-to-end product delivery from inception to execution, requiring a hands-on leader experienced in new product and process development for high-value programs. Success in this role depends on the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders across various organizations and geographies, including Worldwide Engineering and Design, Worldwide Tech SME, Last Mile Delivery and Tech, and Operations and Safety. The individual will manage complex initiatives, navigate ambiguity, and advocate for the customer to shape the future of AMZL delivery stations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience
• Bachelor's degree

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level
• Knowledge of performance metrics such as OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), downtime, throughput, or quality
• Experience working with and managing third party vendors
• Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing
• Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
• Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments
• Experience building launch readiness frameworks, standard work, playbooks, and scalable deployment mechanisms across multiple concurrent sites

Responsibilities

• Initiate, define, plan and manage the roll out of the product features and enhancements for the next generation of AMZL Delivery Stations.
• Work closely with partner teams in Engineering, Tech and Operations to build impactful products.
• Identify new programs to onboard and integrate.
• Lead execution of the product with high-level of discipline and engagement with the product development teams.
• Present concepts, designs, program updates and roadmap to senior leadership on a frequent basis. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Hold partner teams accountable for delivery of project roadmap. Own a part of the vision of the next generation DS roadmap, including execution. Meet defined milestones and delivery dates.
• Drive a culture of innovation across the AMZL Strategic Planning and Process Engineering Org.
