Requirements
- 4+ years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering with a strong background in the technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, electrical, production equipment repair, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of overall system design and applications.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel
- Strong Customer Service and Interpersonal skills
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in Data Centers/ Critical environments
- Two years of trades school or documented apprenticeship in electrical systems, refrigeration and HVAC, plumbing, or other craft skills.
- Universal EPA Certification (or within 90 days of employment)
Responsibilities
- Execute critical environment protocols and MOP processes
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility systems
- Operate and maintain HVAC, CRAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Master building automation, fire/life safety, and related equipment
- Conduct facility inspections and report on conditions daily
- Complete hazard assessments and comply with safety procedures
- Identify and address potential safety hazards
- Maintain compliance with local ordinances, codes, and laws
- Complete all required safety training
- Utilize CMMS systems for work documentation
- Escalate issues to customers and management as needed
- Attend work and safety meetings
- Execute additional tasks as assigned
