About The Position

Central Valley Ag is hiring an Operations (DOT) team member to support grain and agronomy operations at its Hordville, Nebraska facility. This hands-on, team-based role involves loading and moving grain and agronomy products, operating equipment, and helping keep a busy, seasonally active facility running safely and efficiently. Full training is provided, including paid CDL training and certification support. Opportunities are available to develop into transport driver, applicator, or leadership roles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and a Class A CDL, or the ability to obtain one; training is provided.
• Willingness to work hard in a physical, fast-paced environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and desire to learn equipment and systems.
• Reliable, safety-focused, and able to follow procedures.
• Team-oriented, with a strong work ethic and dependability.
• Ability to handle seasonal workloads and shifting priorities.
• Basic math skills for mixing, measurement, and inventory tracking.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload grain, fertilizer, seed, and crop protection products.
• Operate equipment and support grain and agronomy plant operations.
• Drive company and tender trucks once qualified.
• Assist with mixing and loading fertilizer and agronomy products.
• Help with train loading and seasonal peak operations.
• Monitor grain quality and assist with inventory tracking.
• Clean, maintain, and upkeep equipment and facilities.
• Operate scale systems and complete DOT and inventory documentation.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading safely and professionally.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized worksite.
• Support other locations and departments as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
