Sutherland is seeking a talented, strategic Operations Director to lead one of our rapidly expanding educational technology programs. In this role, you will champion large-scale Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and client programs, ensuring seamless execution and strategic alignment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of progressive service delivery or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) leadership experience, specifically in senior management roles overseeing large-scale programs with over 150+ headcount across multiple geographies or at the Director level.
• Prior background in the educational technology (EdTech) sector is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to effectively manage, mentor, and drive accountability with frontline managers in a distributed or remote environment.
• Strong financial acumen with verified success in building strategic financial plans, auditing expense reports, and implementing cost-optimization strategies that deliver business savings.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities combined with decisive, data-driven decision-making and strong leadership traits.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and long-term projects for your specific unit.
• Hire, train, and supervise department staff, managers, and coordinators. Set clear performance goals.
• Partner with executive leadership to design, budget, and execute organizational goals and growth initiatives.
• Work with other departments to streamline scholarship processing, family outreach, and system improvements.
• Ensure all program or financial operations follow state laws, contractual obligations, and internal policies.
