About The Position

As the Operations Director at Leaseweb USA, you will oversee nationwide operations across our U.S. data center footprint, supporting infrastructure, network operations, customer support, logistics, service delivery, and advanced services teams. This is a key leadership role responsible for translating company strategy into operational execution while ensuring reliability, scalability, efficiency, and strong customer satisfaction. As a member of the U.S. leadership team, you will partner closely with global colleagues in Amsterdam and collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Sys Admin, and Product teams to support continued growth across the organization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in operations leadership within data center, hosting, infrastructure, or technology environments
  • Proven experience leading distributed technical teams across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, network operations, customer support environments, and service delivery models
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into measurable operational execution
  • Experience managing vendors, suppliers, and operational service contracts
  • Strong analytical, strategic planning, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead nationwide operations across Leaseweb USA’s data center footprint
  • Manage and develop Data Center Operations, Network Operations, Customer Support, Logistics & Service Delivery, and Advanced Services teams
  • Translate company strategy into clear operational objectives and execution plans
  • Ensure high availability and performance of infrastructure supporting internal and external customers
  • Drive continuous improvement across operational processes, scalability, and service quality
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics, including Net Promoter Score (NPS) • Partner with global stakeholders to align U.S. operational priorities with company-wide initiatives
  • Manage supplier relationships, vendor contracts, and service delivery expectations • Support hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee engagement across operations teams
  • Lead coordination and response for major infrastructure or service-impacting incidents • Support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the Operations organization • Collaborate across departments to ensure operational readiness for new products, services, and growth initiatives
