About The Position

Responsible for facilitating transactions, producing, assembling and delivering replacement/ repair parts and equipment as part of a Services agreement or order. Includes activities such as processing transactions, managing processes, material management, site operations, or warehouse logistics & shipping, sometimes in a shop structure. Includes craft & non craft labour as well as manager roles responsible solely for these activities. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans. The role is guided by operating policy. Works with cross functional teams. The role has autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on a small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L. High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Field Operations / Commercial in the power generation industry.
  • Ability to communicate and negotiate in English and Spanish

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate resources to achieve goals with a timely and cost-effective strategy
  • Lead and assist in daily operations
  • Develop, coordinate, lead, and execute daily production plans and coordinate consistent and effective shift-to-shift transition
  • Develop and implement process controls
  • Support operations leader in the strategic planning of manpower, equipment, and other resources
  • Developing expertise in own function.
  • Influences policy and ensures delivery within area of responsibility, linking with other parts of the organization.
  • Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services.
  • Utilizes understanding of industry trends to inform decision making process.
  • Leads others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
  • Employs sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques.
  • Interaction with adjacent functions needed to solve issues.

  • Lead the Warranty COE for Aero Services Americas, with responsibility wing to wing on the turnover from NU Projects, Warranty period and turn-over to Services organization.
  • Responsibility over warranty metrics, including customer satisfaction, budget, closing time of warranty claims.
  • This position will be a people leader role.
