About The Position

The Operations Crew Member performs routine housekeeping, event setup, breakdown, and changeover tasks at the facility as needed. Most work takes place in public spaces with exposure to the general public. The position has no regular schedule and requires availability for variable, irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Work is performed in a fast-paced environment involving multitasking and overlapping deadlines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalence.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Ability to work days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends as required.
• Ability to walk extended distances for 8–10 hours a day and climb stairs.
• Ability to lift 50–75 pounds.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work from event overviews and task lists, meet deadlines, work effectively under pressure or stringent schedules, and produce accurate results.
• Ability to remain flexible and adjust to changing situations.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work well with others and on teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping tasks, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, carpet extraction, and glass cleaning.
• Complete setup, breakdown, and changeover tasks as needed.
• Participate in event conversions, including setting up and tearing down tables, chairs, dance floors, staging, furnishings, and equipment.
• Support day-to-day facility operations, including loading and unloading delivery trucks, moving trash and waste to proper disposal areas, and replenishing supplies.
• Promptly report irregularities, discrepancies, safety or damage concerns, and loss of property to the Operations Manager.
• Perform light maintenance repairs to event setup and cleaning equipment using hand and power tools.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, vertical lifts, golf carts, and other motorized vehicles properly, or complete certification within 45 days of starting.
• Read and understand event notes written and communicated in English.
