About The Position

Seton Education Partners seeks a mission-driven, highly organized, and results-oriented individual to serve as an Operations Coordinator for the Seton Teaching Fellows program. The Seton Teaching Fellows’ Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in advancing the mission of Seton Teaching Fellows by translating vision into action across high-priority, cross-functional initiatives. This role will ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all teams and functions related to Seton Teaching Fellows. Working closely with all team members and partner schools and programs, this role leads projects that strengthen our formation, operations, and growth as a national apostolate. The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationally attuned, and energized by bringing clarity, momentum, and excellence to the mission of Seton Education Partners and the Fellows called to teach within it. Seton Teaching Fellows accompanies, develops, and challenges young Catholics to serve students, families, and each other by imitating the love of Christ the Teacher in underserved communities and beyond. Seton Teaching Fellows is a one or two-year postgraduate mission opportunity that brings the living Gospel and the beauty of the Catholic faith to children and families in underserved communities. Fellows rely on both time-tested and innovative methods that help the children and families they serve, as well as their peers, to better know, love, and serve Christ and His Church. At the same time, they participate in their own spiritual formation by developing the habits, dispositions, and beliefs indispensable to human flourishing and happiness. As the Operations Coordinator for the Seton Teaching Fellows program, you are entrusted with stewarding and advancing high-impact initiatives that strengthen our national apostolate. You will partner closely with team members across the organization to bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to all projects—ensuring that our alumni, Fellows, and partners are supported with intentionality, care, and operational excellence in service of the communities we are called to serve.

Requirements

  • Has earned a bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Has at least one year of teaching in a school serving predominantly low-income children with demonstrated exemplary student achievement results
  • Has a strong work ethic coupled with an enthusiastic and passionate approach to work
  • Deeply faithful, mission-driven Catholic with a passion for the mission of Seton Teaching Fellows and Catholic education
  • Demonstrates extremely strong organizational skills, including detail-orientation, and is able to organize, prioritize, track, and manage workflow/resources
  • Demonstrated leadership, ownership, and accountability in professional and operational contexts
  • Strong relational skills with the ability to build trust and partnership across diverse stakeholders, including Fellows, school leaders, and national staff
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain systems that support communication, operations, and long-term growth
  • Has the ability to strategically manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • Clear, thoughtful communicator who models excellence, follow-through, and service-oriented leadership
  • Experience managing complex projects or programs in a nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organization
  • Comfort working with databases, CRMs, and communication tools (e.g., Hubspot, Google Workspace, Asana, etc.)
  • Event planning and logistics experience, including budgeting and vendor coordination
  • Candidates must live in, or be willing to move close to, one of our Seton Teaching Fellows’ placement sites: Bronx, NY, Cincinnati, OH, or Mission, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of STF housing, ensuring that each home is not only functional but conducive to intentional, mission-driven community life.
  • Serve as primary liaison with landlords, property managers, and vendors, ensuring safe, stable, and well-maintained living environments.
  • Maintain systems to track housing needs and ensure timely, effective responses to any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with the Resident Mentors in relevant Fellows houses to ensure hospitable and stable housing, encourage a positive, mission-oriented culture, and quickly identify and fill housing needs.
  • Own the summer housing turnover, as one cohort moves out, the homes are cleaned and restored, and the new cohort moves in.
  • Support the planning and execution of retreats and all programmatic events, owning the logistics to ensure a seamless and hospitable experience that allows Fellows to fully enter into formation.
  • In collaboration with the Talent Team, coordinate Come and See weekends and other mission-facing events, helping prospective Fellows experience the depth and authenticity of STF community life.
  • Serve as a primary driver of mission-aligned hospitality, creating a welcoming, thoughtful, and excellent experience for speakers, clergy, and guests.
  • Serve as the liaison for all formation events in all geographies, coordinating food, communication to Fellows, reserving venues, requesting honorariums when applicable, travel when applicable, and ensuring a smooth logistical execution overall.
  • Support the STF Leadership Team with logistics related to events, meetings, and partnerships.
  • Assist in coordinating logistics for non-formation programmatic initiatives as needed, ensuring leadership priorities are well supported and executed with excellence.
