About The Position

We are seeking motivated, detail-oriented individuals for an entry-level Operations Coordinator role. This position supports vessel port operations by managing shipment documentation, coordinating cargo movement, and assisting with customs clearance processes. Requirements

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, or customs documentation is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry of shipment, manifest, and routing information
  • Receive and review manifests and supporting documentation from vessels calling port
  • Coordinate with customs brokers to ensure shipments are properly cleared
  • Communicate with onboard documentation managers to resolve questions or discrepancies
  • Work with trucking companies by providing manifests, documents, pickup instructions, and delivery details
  • Coordinate with operations teams to distribute shipments for final routing
  • Request, verify, and enter applicable charges into company systems
  • Maintain organized files and records for all shipments and transactions
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams and customers as needed
  • Job duties may be added or taken away due to operational / business needs and requirements.
