Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • Three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skills
  • Must possess good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interact in a professional manner with customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to work as team member or independently

Responsibilities

  • Audit work orders to ensure production is accurately reported, investigate discrepancies, and work with Operations to resolve reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to Operations and Shipping, including labels, shipping documentation, and other administrative and operational support as required.
  • Monitors all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables, report any discrepancies to the plant manager timely.
  • Analyzes work orders, MOQ, etc to ensure that the company is maximizing margins.
  • Prepares financial reports and charts daily / weekly as requested.
  • Analyzes data, summarizes information, and identifies trends.
  • Responsible for performing special projects to improve process efficiency and performance projects as assigned by management.
  • Provides timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the results of the plant’s performance against historical, budgeted, forecasted and strategic planning results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget and strategic plan.
  • Assists Plant Manager to identify non-value-added processes within the plant and seeks solutions.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions.
  • Approves timecards, makes edits as needed, and answers payroll related questions.
  • Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Ensures safety of employees and that all company policies are adhered to.
  • Assist plant manager with EH&S activities.
  • Orders office and manufacturing supplies and maintains Kanban system for critical supplies.
