About The Position
SAW, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and organized Operations Coordinator to oversee production operations, facility and fleet management, safety compliance, and vocational programming at our Galaxy Center. This position plays a critical role in supporting adults with developmental disabilities while ensuring the efficient operation of our production and vocational habilitation programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Four years of experience in an adult activity center or developmental disabilities setting (college coursework may substitute for experience).
- Valid Ohio driver's license with an excellent driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications, including CPR/First Aid, DODD, and Tow Motor Operator Certification.
- Ability to push/pull/lift 50 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate production and vocational habilitation activities.
- Manage facility, grounds, equipment, and vehicle fleet maintenance.
- Oversee safety programs, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise the P.M. Maintenance DSP.
- Coordinate staff and individual equipment training.
- Monitor inventories, maintenance schedules, and operational records.
- Provide operational support, including staff coverage, transportation assistance, and emergency response as needed.
