About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team at The Boulevard Senior Living St. Charles. This role serves as the 'First Face' of the community, acting as a welcoming host and providing exceptional customer service. The Operations Coordinator is the 'Go-To Guide' for residents, vendors, guests, and employees, answering questions via phone, email, or in person. This position also functions as an 'Exceptional Assistant' to the administrative team, ensuring timely and professional responses to communications. Additionally, the Operations Coordinator is an 'Accurate Accountant,' responsible for tracking resident occupancy, ensuring accurate resident billing, and correctly applying payments and credits to resident accounts.

Requirements

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 12th grade proficiency.
  • Experience in handling bookkeeping and knowledge of basic accounting.
  • Ability to adhere to the company’s accounting policies.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Google Docs.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
  • Ability to apply practical solving skills if needed.
  • Professional in appearance and conduct.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 25 pounds.
  • Criminally cleared.
  • In good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Good physical health verified by a health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.
  • Position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping most of the day.
  • Sedentary periods of one to three hours are also required.
  • Ability to retrieve items from storage, including overhead bins or cabinets.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming host and provide exceptional customer service as the first encounter for visitors.
  • Answer or find answers to questions from residents, vendors, guests, or employees.
  • Assist the administrative team with assigned tasks.
  • Ensure phone calls and emails are answered in a timely and professional manner.
  • Track resident occupancy.
  • Ensure accurate resident billing.
  • Correctly apply payments and credits to resident accounts.
