About The Position

Founded in 1989, Desert Lumber and Building Materials supplies customers with specialty building materials from multiple locations across Las Vegas, NV. Operations that include 2 Lumber Yards, Floor and Roof Truss Manufacturing, Desert Fasteners, and Desert Window Systems. . A Brief Overview Operations Coordinators perform a variety of administrative tasks and provide daily support to the operations of the location.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent work experience required.
  • Good administrative skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction or building industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily support to the operations team.
  • Assist with checking out drivers, scheduling delivery changes, and DOT administrative tasks.
  • Print and distribute work picks and consolidated work picks.
  • Administer all phases of time clock management.
  • Maintain invoice records, the filing system, and posts corrections.
  • Comply with operational safety and security policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to the Company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.
  • Adheres to Company’s commitment to workplace safety.
