The CIP Bay Attendant is responsible for the thorough cleaning and sanitization of dairy tankers in strict adherence to established procedures and guidelines. This role involves operating clean in place (CIP) milk bulk tank wash systems, cleaning various equipment and areas within the wash bay, responding to spills, organizing supplies, and using appropriate cleaning agents. The attendant must also perform regular cleaning of caustic, fresh water, and reclaim tanks, conduct confined space assessments, and perform daily vehicle inspections. Ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to safety and wash guidelines, including HACCP, JPA, and OSHA standards, are critical aspects of the job. The position also requires operating a terminal tractor to maneuver tankers.
