About The Position

The Operations Attendant aids and ensures the safety of guests and equipment at Big SNOW. This role is responsible for greeting, supervising, and assisting guests as they utilize our lifts and lift-assisted attractions. The attendant acts as a reliable source of information for guests, operates lifts, and assists with maintenance and operational procedures.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Ability to deal effectively with guests
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to shovel and remove snow from lift areas
Must be able to be in cold temperatures (constant 28 degrees) for long periods
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Must be willing to speak in front of large groups of people
A positive attitude and a commitment to great service
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

Be an accurate and reliable source of information for our Guests
Greet and interact with guests
Operate lifts, loading/unloading, scanning
Assist with maintenance and SOP’s of equipment and grounds as necessary
Bump chairs and shovel snow
Promote and educate guests on safety and how to properly use the lifts, as well as best practices and techniques
Acknowledge and advocate for our guests needs as it pertains to their experience with Big SNOW
Enforce and follow safety procedures for the team and our guests
Perform other duties as assigned by Blazer/Guide
