About The Position

The Operations Associate creates an outstanding customer experience by performing store operations functions. This is an early morning role that works with a team to complete tasks before the store opens. The position includes customer service, pricing and signing, replenishment, receiving merchandise, maintaining backroom standards, supporting omnichannel services, and executing merchandise placement plans. Associates also participate in ongoing learning about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and assist customers with questions or requests.
• Change ticket prices and signage on merchandise throughout the store.
• Pull and prepare merchandise for the sales floor to replenish and restock products, helping ensure customers can find the styles and sizes they need.
• Work with co-workers to unload trucks and prepare merchandise in the backroom.
• Keep the stockroom safe, clean, and organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel efforts, including Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Order Delivery and Returns, shipping online orders, and merchandise receiving.
• Execute leadership's merchandise placement plans efficiently and in detail while maintaining merchandising standards as goods are moved to the sales floor.
• Learn about merchandise, shrink, safety, productivity, and other business processes through peers and training materials.
• Solve problems and make decisions that support sales, profit, and customer service; work efficiently and encourage strong performance.
• Provide great customer service, build positive, inclusive, and respectful relationships, and take accountability for actions and outcomes.
• Look for ways to improve the customer experience, show confidence in doing what is right, and act with energy and urgency.
