About The Position

The Operations Assistant supports Interior Designers and shares ownership of all aspects of store-level business. The role partners with Studio staff to drive sales and exceed business objectives while delivering an exceptional guest experience and maintaining operational excellence. The Operations Assistant coordinates with other Operations Assistants and Interior Designers to uphold operational standards, represents the Arhaus brand, uses the company’s selling model to generate sales, and conducts business according to company standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing duties as directed.
• Record all hours worked.
• Review and act upon email and MAPP communications.
• Reinforce and drive an exceptional guest experience at every touch point.
• Assist customers in the Studio when Interior Designers are unavailable.
• Create a guest-focused atmosphere and provide high-level service using the company’s selling model.
• Demonstrate strong product knowledge.
• Maintain operational and reporting standards.
• Promptly resolve guest concerns.
• Follow up proactively and consistently with guests before and after the sale and at delivery.
• Encourage and support Interior Designers and other Operations Assistants.
• Participate in weekly one-on-ones, team meetings, and lead/business reviews.
• Partner with the Visual Manager and other Operations Assistants on merchandising and inventory control.
• Maintain current product and systems knowledge.
• Review orders for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Communicate effectively and consistently with clients and team members.
• Maintain tagging standards and assist with tagging procedures.
• Schedule in-home client design appointments.
