About The Position

The Operations Assistant Supervisor (OAS) is a frontline leadership position responsible for supporting and overseeing daily EMS system operations. This role ensures operational readiness, clinical excellence, and efficient service delivery across all assigned field units. The OAS serves as the on-duty operational leader, providing real-time guidance, support, and oversight to field personnel while helping maintain system status management, resource deployment, and continuity of care throughout the shift. This position is ideal for experienced Paramedics who are ready to step into operational leadership while still maintaining a strong clinical presence in the field. The OAS functions as a bridge between field operations, communications, and organizational leadership—helping ensure that patient care, responder safety, and operational efficiency remain aligned at all times. This is not just a supervisory role — it is a leadership pathway within a progressive EMS system committed to developing the next generation of operational leaders. At Community Care Ambulance, leadership development is intentional. We invest in our people through ongoing training, mentorship, and advancement opportunities designed to grow future Operations Managers, Clinical Leaders, and System Administrators. If you are a better leader, our system runs stronger, our crews perform better, and our patients receive higher-quality care.
