At ShipIt, our Operations and Talent Coordinator isn't a traditional "HR" role; it is a strategic leadership position focused on the efficiency, allocation, and success of our team members. We are seeking a high-performance leader to orchestrate our personnel operations in Lexington, Kentucky. You will be responsible for ensuring every department is staffed, managing internal talent shifts, and driving employee productivity.

Requirements

  • A visionary leader who can motivate and inspire others toward a common goal.
  • Proven experience in workforce management, HR operations, or personnel leadership.
  • Able to weigh statistical data with sound judgment to make objective personnel decisions.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and digital organization.
  • Expert in de-escalation; able to confront difficult situations and people calmly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure departments are properly staffed. Audit personnel quotas to maintain peak operational efficiency.
  • Assess new hires and trainees to identify their primary talents.
  • Oversee role assignments, onboarding processes, and the transition to full job responsibilities.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of training flows, apprenticeships, and specialized training programs. Work directly with team members to ensure they complete their growth paths.
  • Conduct regular check-ins to drive employee retention.
  • Maintain personnel files, contracts, and legal documentation.
