About The Position

Operations and Readiness Analyst support operational planning, force readiness assessment, data analysis, and executive-level reporting for military operations and exercises. The analyst will provide analytical support to operational commanders, senior staff, and government leadership by collecting, assessing, synthesizing, and presenting operational readiness data, personnel and equipment status, training metrics, and mission capability assessments.

Requirements

• Experience with Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), Joint Training Tool (JTT), Global Synchronization Analysis Management Planning System (GSAMPS), Maven Smart Systems (MSS), and Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2)
• Experience supporting Department of War (DoW) operational staffs
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to maintain awareness of operational priorities, readiness directives, and evolving mission requirements
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• 10+ years of experience supporting military operations, readiness reporting, operational planning, or defense advisory environments
• Experience analyzing Microsoft 365
• Experience developing operational briefings and reports for senior military or government leadership
• Ability to develop scripts and programs for converting various types of IoT and sensor data into usable formats
• Possession of strong analytical, briefing, and written communication skills
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to operational commanders, senior staff, and government leadership by collecting, assessing, synthesizing, and presenting operational readiness data, personnel and equipment status, training metrics, and mission capability assessments.
• Support operational planning, force readiness assessment, data analysis, and executive-level reporting for military operations and exercises.
• Develop and maintain operational readiness dashboards, reports, briefings, and executive summaries for senior leadership.
• Assist with operational planning efforts, exercises, contingency operations, and readiness assessments.
• Conduct data quality assurance and validation of readiness reporting inputs and outputs.
