About The Position

The primary location for this position is flexible and will depend on the selected candidate. The position may be based at any of our Department of Corrections locations statewide. This recruitment is available for current regular status employees of the Oregon Department of Corrections, Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision, or Oregon Corrections Enterprises. As our Operations and Policy Analyst 2, EHR Technical Analyst, you will serve as a business systems analyst focused primarily on work related to the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system in Health Services. You will work collaboratively with Health Services’ administration and staff, the EHR system vendor, DOC’s Information Technology team, and others, to determine change request work and other modifications to the EHR. This position serves in support of all work within the EHR that impacts patient care and the user experience, with primary focus on system testing and delivery. You will develop and maintain testing plans for EHR system changes and oversee test execution, troubleshooting, and defect resolution. This position is represented by American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). This position may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.

Requirements

  • Any combination of experience and education equivalent to five years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.
  • OR A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Public Administration, Behavioral or Social Sciences, Finance, Political Science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and two years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

  • Pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility.
  • Confirm authorization to work in the United States within three days of hire.
