About The Position

The Operations Analyst will coordinate administrative and support functions for a Department of Defense (DoD) headquarters organization. This role is critical for enabling day-to-day activities, mitigating issues, and reducing or eliminating miscommunication, misrouted documents, and poor coordination. The analyst will ensure appropriate attention is given to meetings, visitors, and staff work, and provide proven solutions to leadership and their staff. The position involves delivering a full range of front office support, which may include meeting set-up and execution, IT inventory management, correspondence, document management, security, and action item management. The individual will follow established correspondence procedures, standardized document routing, and approval processes.

Requirements

  • Experience with using the Microsoft Suite of tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
  • Ability to perform administrative tasks for the front office of a military or federal organization
  • Ability to manage calendars for senior government officials, including scheduling, follow-up, and prioritizing meetings for leadership
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of experience in administration, or 3+ years of experience in administration in lieu of a degree

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience providing administrative services in a professional office environment
  • Experience working in a military headquarters or federal organization
  • Knowledge of DoD and U.S. Army organization, correspondence, and procedural requirements
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
