About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD. This role directly supports the Government Lead with the implementation of Government-directed initiatives and activities affecting the execution and accomplishment of program infrastructure and systems. The Operations Analyst will resolve issues that may arise among team members and address strategic issues requiring senior management attention. This position requires showing support to the program and the mandated team through action, reporting to other stakeholders, and confirming the successful completion of given programs. The role involves close collaboration with the communication and management team to increase program awareness among stakeholders, facilitating tasking, and submitting reports, updates, and status of all program activities. Additionally, the Operations Analyst will coordinate between the Government Lead and the vendor team to provide oversight and management, facilitating the implementation of program infrastructure and systems.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in DoW communications.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Leadership abilities.
  • Risk management mindset.
  • Understanding of program management principles.
  • Experience budgeting and forecasting.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
  • A clearance will not be sponsored.

Responsibilities

  • Directly support Government Lead with implementation of Government directed initiatives and activities affecting the execution/accomplishment of program infrastructure and systems.

  • Work closely with the communication and management team to increase program awareness among the different stakeholders.

  • Coordinate between Government Lead and vendor team to provide oversight and management facilitating implementation of the program infrastructure and systems.
