About The Position

Sigma Defense is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our team at Ft. Meade, MD. This role involves directly supporting the Government Lead with the implementation of Government-directed initiatives and activities affecting program infrastructure and systems. The analyst will resolve issues among team members and escalate strategic issues to senior management. They will demonstrate support for the program and mandated team through action, report to stakeholders on program completion, and work with the communication and management team to increase program awareness. Additionally, the role includes facilitating tasking and submissions of reports, updates, and status of program activities, and coordinating between the Government Lead and vendor team for oversight and management of program infrastructure and systems implementation.

Requirements

8-10 years of experience in DoW communications.
Strong communication skills.
Conflict resolution skills.
Leadership abilities.
Risk management mindset.
Understanding of program management principles.
Experience budgeting and forecasting.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active TS/SCI security clearance or higher.
A clearance will not be sponsored.

Responsibilities

Directly support Government Lead with implementation of Government directed initiatives and activities affecting the execution/accomplishment of program infrastructure and systems.
Resolve issues that may arise among team members and strategic issues that may need the attention of senior managers.
Show support to the program and the mandated team, expressed through action.
Report to other stakeholders and confirm the successful completion of given programs.
Work closely with the communication and management team to increase program awareness among the different stakeholders.
Facilitate tasking and submission of reports, updates, and status of all program activities.
Coordinate between Government Lead and vendor team to provide oversight and management facilitating implementation of the program infrastructure and systems.
