About The Position

WEIS is looking for a passionate and team-oriented Operations Analyst who is dedicated to associate growth and community development. This position requires full onsite availability in Sunbury, PA. The analyst will be responsible for creating and developing reports using Excel and MS PowerBI, including data gathering, processing, automation, documentation, accuracy, and issue resolution. They will collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data, use various methods to visualize data, and structure large datasets to find usable information. The role also involves working with a team to process information and resolve store-specific labor reporting issues via email, Teams, or phone. Additionally, the analyst will provide information and recommendations for special requests related to sales and labor.

Requirements

• Understanding and advanced experience in Microsoft Excel is required.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, vendors and customers.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts, such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
• Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variable in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business or Analytics preferred but not required.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Create reports for internal teams.
• Develop custom reports using Excel and MS PowerBI, including data gathering, processing, automation, documentation, accuracy, and resolving issues and questions.
• Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
• Use graphs, infographics, and other methods to visualize data.
• Structure large datasets to find usable information.
• Work with team of analysts and other associates to process information.
• Resolve store-specific labor reporting issues utilizing email, Teams or, phone communications.
• Provide information and recommendations for special requests pertaining to sales and labor.
