About The Position

We’re hiring an Operations Analyst to help power the operational systems and workflows that keep Rhythm running smoothly behind the scenes. In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of Operations, Technology, Customer Experience, and our external partners, helping manage the critical workflows that connect Rhythm with utilities, vendors, and service providers. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver a seamless customer experience while supporting the growth and scalability of our business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving operational problems, improving processes, working with data, and collaborating across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience supporting backend operations, transaction processing, business operations, or similar operational workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience working with data to identify trends and operational issues
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Customer Experience, Product, and external partners
  • Highly organized with an ownership mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Passion for continuous improvement and building scalable operational processes

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems
  • Experience in the retail energy or utilities industry
  • Experience documenting business processes or testing operational workflows
  • Proficiency with Excel and data visualization tools
  • Experience using customer support or ticketing platforms

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage key operational workflows, including account exception management, failed order queues, and customer-related operational requests
  • Partner with utilities, Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) vendors, and internal teams to investigate and resolve transaction exceptions
  • Monitor operational performance, identify trends, and proactively surface opportunities for process improvements
  • Analyze operational data to identify recurring issues, root causes, and opportunities to improve efficiency
  • Document workflows, business processes, and operational procedures to improve consistency and scalability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate bugs, operational risks, and enhancement opportunities
  • Support operational requests while consistently meeting established service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Partner with your manager to execute operational initiatives and continuous improvement projects
  • Help improve the systems, processes, and integrations that support Rhythm's customer operations
