About The Position

Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company is seeking an Operations Analyst, based out of Billerica, MA. Rapiscan Systems, an OSI Systems, Inc. company, designs, manufactures and markets security and inspection systems worldwide. Our products are used to inspect baggage, cargo, people, vehicles and other objects for weapons, explosives, drugs and other contraband. Rapiscan Systems security and inspection devices can be found in a wide range of locations such as airports, border crossings, railway stations, seaports and terminals, government and military installations, and nuclear facilities. Rapiscan, an OSI Systems Company, is seeking a high-impact individual contributor role designed for an MBA graduate relevant experience in operations, supply chain, or analytics-driven business environments. This role supports Operations leadership by translating complex operational data into actionable insights, scalable tools, and automated solutions that materially improve business performance. In this role, the successful candidate will go beyond traditional analysis and reporting to design, automate, and institutionalize analytics capabilities that drive sustained operational excellence. This role acts as a force multiplier for Operations, effectively bridging strategy, execution, and analytics. The Senior Analyst ensures leaders have access to accurate, actionable data, tools, and insights—enabling them to focus on key decisions and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent experience, with 3-5+ years of Supply Chain analytics experience leveraging advanced SQL, Power BI/DAX, and manufacturing ERP systems (Dynamics 365) for capacity planning and production optimization
  • Demonstrated expertise in complex analytical modelling, statistical analysis, and problem-solving, with proven success building KPI dashboards, spend analysis tools, inventory optimization models, and capacity planning solutions using SQL, Python, and Power BI while ensuring data accuracy and deriving actionable insights.
  • Ability to independently lead analytics projects from problem identification through solution implementation and adoption.
  • Experience designing reusable analytics tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions that achieve broad adoption across Operations teams.
  • Track record of influencing senior leadership decisions through data-driven insights and recommendations, without formal authority.
  • Proactive mindset—anticipating business challenges and proposing analytics solutions before needs are formally articulated.
  • Serves as a strategic thought partner to Operations leadership, translating business priorities into measurable analytics frameworks.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s in Project Management or MBA strongly preferred.
  • Experience developing dashboards and analytics using Dynamics 365 F&O data entities highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead comprehensive end-to-end supply chain analysis spanning demand forecasting, production planning, manufacturing execution, inventory optimization, logistics, and supplier performance to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.
  • Identify critical performance trends, capacity constraints, supply risks, and multimillion-dollar cost-saving opportunities through rigorous analytics that enable proactive, market-leading decisions.
  • Direct cost reduction, productivity improvement, service reliability, and inventory efficiency initiatives delivering measurable P&L impact and competitive advantage.
  • Transform complex data insights into compelling, executive-ready recommendations that shape Operations and Supply Chain strategy at the highest levels.
  • Architect enterprise-grade analytics platforms including automated dashboards, predictive models, and self-service tools that eliminate manual processes and accelerate organizational decision velocity.
  • Own executive KPI frameworks tracking cost savings, perfect order rates, inventory velocity, and material readiness to establish performance benchmarks and drive continuous transformation.
  • Engineer production planning and capacity optimization solutions directly from core manufacturing data, enabling precise build schedules, lead time management, and resource allocation that maximize throughput and profitability.
  • Establish scalable data architectures and governance frameworks delivering trusted, real-time intelligence as the foundation for enterprise-wide decision-making.
  • Anticipate supply disruptions, demand volatility, and performance gaps, surfacing mission-critical insights that protect service levels and safeguard profitability.
  • Own complete monthly and quarterly operational performance reviews from data collection through C-suite strategic reporting and action planning.
  • Build strategic partnerships across Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Planning leadership to convert complex business challenges into high-ROI analytics solutions.
  • Lead enterprise transformation initiatives with rigorous measurement frameworks, scenario modeling, and performance accountability systems.
  • Communicate sophisticated analytics as clear, persuasive narratives that drive executive alignment, cross-functional execution, and measurable results.
  • Champion operational excellence, ethical leadership, and data-driven innovation as core organizational competencies.
