About The Position

ACT1 Federal LLC is a 100% employee-owned company that has served the Department of Defense (DoD) for nearly thirty years. Our core missions include weapon systems engineering, logistics, space domain expertise, global defense and security, business and financial management for security assistance and major defense articles, as well as military training and arctic security. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or mathematics required.
Three (3) years of experience in organizing small meetings and tracking technical and financial milestones required.
Active Top-Secret Clearance required.
Experience in operations research.

Responsibilities

Formulate and apply mathematical modeling and other optimizing methods to develop and interpret information that assists management with decision making, policy formulation, or other managerial functions.
Collect and analyze data and develop decision support software, services, or products.
Develop and supply optimal time, cost, or logistics networks for program evaluation, review, or implementation.
Assist in the coordination and management of large organizations that require the effective use of money, materials, equipment, and people by applying analytical methods from mathematics, science and engineering.
Gather information and apply techniques involving the construction of mathematical models that attempt to describe the system being studied.
Anticipate and solve problems in financial, administrative and program management.
