About The Position

The Florida Department of Revenue’s Information Services Program (ISP) is seeking a highly organized and analytical professional to serve as an Operations Analyst II supporting procurement, contract administration, and operational monitoring activities. This position provides comprehensive support across procurement and contract operations, including purchasing coordination, contract lifecycle administration, data tracking, and operational reporting. The incumbent works within established policies and procedures while collaborating with contract managers, procurement staff, program areas, and financial teams to ensure procurement activities are executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with state regulations and Department standards. The role also supports data analysis, reporting, and process improvement initiatives by maintaining tracking systems, monitoring procurement performance, and identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency across procurement and contract management processes.

Requirements

  • One (1) or more years of professional experience in purchasing, procurement, contract administration, data analysis, administrative support, or a related business function.
  • One (1) or more years of college experience from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, finance, supply chain management, data analytics, or a related field may substitute for the required experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience processing purchase orders, contract renewals, amendments, or procurement documentation.
  • Experience with MyFloridaMarketPlace (MFMP) or similar procurement/financial systems.
  • Experience maintaining tracking tools, dashboards, or procurement-related reports.
  • Experience tracking contract renewals, invoices, or procurement lifecycle activities.
  • Experience with state procurement rules, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Experience using strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience working in a public-sector or large organizational environment.
