About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking an Operations Analyst I to join their team. This role involves gathering and analyzing data related to power outages to determine their cause and location, and then efficiently dispatching personnel and repair crews for a quick response. The position also includes performing callouts in ARCOS for service restoration and emergencies, maintaining accurate information in Crew Manager, and acting as a Local Storm Analyst with the ability to travel to impacted offices. The role is responsible for managing Estimated Restoration Times, providing accurate information and first-line resolution to customer complaints, and potentially handling direct customer correspondence. Additionally, the analyst will prioritize, schedule, and manage non-emergency preventative maintenance and customer-requested work, which may involve the full setup, packaging, permitting, and reconciliation of work orders. The position also recognizes the financial impact of accurate information management and may involve monthly budget reviews, financial report analysis, and cross-charge requests. Finally, the analyst will prioritize, dispatch, and manage streetlight work, which can include setup, permitting, as-builting, reconciliation, and billing interaction.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of demonstrated related experience
  • 5 months of Regional Operation Center experience
  • Basic knowledge of distribution and transmission systems
  • Ability to learn job-specific computer applications
  • Ability to handle constantly changing and emerging priorities
  • Ability to address multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Maintains a working knowledge of TRSi, the ARM suite, ARCOS, CBMS, GIS Products, SRRS, and other office software

Responsibilities

  • Gathers and analyzes customer calls and computer data to determine the location and cause of power outages.
  • Dispatches first response personnel and repair crews for outage and emergency situations.
  • Performs callouts in ARCOS for service restoration, emergencies, planned overtime, and fill-shifts.
  • Maintains accurate information and movement in Crew Manager.
  • Performs as Local Storm Analyst and travels to impacted offices.
  • Manages Estimated Restoration Times to customers.
  • Provides accurate and timely information to customers and first-line resolution to customer complaints.
  • Prioritizes, schedules, and manages non-emergency preventative maintenance and customer-requested work.
  • Handles full creation, setup, packaging, permitting, joint-use interaction, as-builting, and reconciling discrepancies for ARM and trouble work.
  • Recognizes the financial impact of accurate information in all systems.
  • Conducts monthly budget reviews, financial report analysis, and evidence collection.
  • Submits cross-charge requests where applicable.
  • Prioritizes, dispatches, and manages streetlight work.
  • Handles full setup, packaging, permit work, as-builting, reconciliation, billing interaction, GIS editing, and job closing for streetlight work.
