About The Position

Broadridge is seeking an Operations Adjuster to join their Production Operations team in South Windsor. This is an on-site role where the Adjuster will be responsible for machine setup, adjustments, and minor/intermediate corrective maintenance on production support equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability. The role involves reading and interpreting technical service bulletins and manuals, resolving repairs, and escalating issues when necessary. The Operations Adjuster will also assist with inserting training and running inserters, perform job setups, conduct advanced technical diagnoses, and meet monthly Operator Efficiency Goals. The position requires troubleshooting production-related equipment, monitoring machine efficiency with supervisors, and utilizing additional levels of maintenance and machine access while adhering to all departmental and safety procedures. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, reach and lift 50 lb. mail trays throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required).

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-year related experience in the operation of high-speed automated machinery, including a strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Perform machine set up, adjustments, and minor/intermediate corrective maintenance on all production support equipment.
  • Ensure maximum availability and reliability of production support equipment.
  • Read and interpret technical service bulletins and manuals.
  • Resolve repairs and escalate issues to maintenance, vendors, or management as needed.
  • Assist with inserting training and running inserters.
  • Perform job set ups ranging from basic to intermediate.
  • Perform advanced technical diagnoses including machine reboots, folder adjustments, and camera set up.
  • Meet and maintain all defined monthly Operator Efficiency Goals.
  • Troubleshoot production-related equipment.
  • Work with supervisors to monitor and escalate any issues to ensure machine is running at maximum efficiency.
  • Utilize additional levels of maintenance and machine access.
  • Follow all departmental and safety procedures.
  • May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.
