About The Position

Adjusters perform machine set up, adjustments, and minor/intermediate corrective maintenance on all production support equipment to ensure maximum availability and reliability. The Operations Adjuster can read and interpret technical service bulletins and manuals. This role can resolve repairs and escalate the issue if necessary to maintenance, vendors, or management to aid in the problem resolution process. Operations Adjuster will assist with inserting training and running inserters as needed. Reports to Manager of Production Control Center. Perform job set ups ranging from basic to intermediate. Expected to perform advanced technical diagnoses including but not limited to machine reboots, folder adjustments, and camera set up. Successfully meets and maintains all defined monthly Operator Efficiency Goals. Troubleshoot production-related equipment. Work with supervisors to monitor and escalate any issues to ensure machine is running at maximum efficiency. Utilize additional levels of maintenance and machine access. Follows all departmental and safety procedures. May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

  • Basic mechanical and trouble shooting skills.
  • Demonstrates ability to safely use a wide range of tools and equipment/machinery.

  • Ability to multi-task while working under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime.
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, push, pull, reach and lift 50 lb. mail trays throughout duration of assigned 12-hour shifts.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment (ear protection provided and required).
  • Promote a professional work environment and adhere to all Broadridge policies.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-year related experience in the operation of high-speed automated machinery, including a strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Consistently exceeds both throughput and quality goals.
