About The Position

CACI is seeking an Operational Systems Engineer as a system developer to serve as part of an infrastructure platform. You will spend a significant amount of time dedicated towards assisting with modernization (e.g., designing, engineering/developing and implementation) of the platform, in support of its end users. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, with polygraph
  • Ability to evaluate and recommend complex process improvements and new & emerging technologies to meet customer requirements; including AI technologies
  • 7+ years in Engineering and Developing (Network, Communications, Computer Systems), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or equivalent relevant work experience
  • 7+ years programming in multiple coding languages and in virtual technologies and infrastructure (e.g., Debian, Python, , SQL, Linux, ProxMox, Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes, etc.)
  • 7+ years with experience in developing API’s in relation to cross domain solutions, and with HA-Systems
  • Strong background on SYSTRAN development
  • Strong background in CI/CD relationship to Cross Domain Solutions and general software development
  • Sound judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with an ability to adapt to emerging issues and changing priorities under short deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and stay abreast of leading-edge technologies
  • Demonstrated experience supporting A&A efforts

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with both on-premise and cloud deployment technologies and automation
  • Detailed oriented, organized, able to multitask, and adaptable to shifting requirements
  • Flexibility – works well both independently and as a team player; must be eager to learn
  • Candidate should be a self-starter and possess a willingness to dive into new technologies when appropriate
  • Experience implementing and documenting standard operating procedures of systems or networks (e.g., Linux, Windows, Cloud platforms, etc.)

  • Foster collaborative partnerships across functional teams, to include identifying opportunities to build efficiencies into innovative IT systems that support the client’s cyber mission.
  • Potential for CONUS, occasional travel.
