About The Position

Armison Tech is seeking an experienced Operational Systems Engineer to join a multi-faceted team. This role involves applying cybersecurity tactics from both offensive and defensive perspectives to develop web-based systems that improve efficiency, usability, automation, and standardization. The engineer will be responsible for building critical DevOps pipelines using AWS, Azure, Google technologies, GitLab CI/CD, and tools like Ansible and Terraform. The position is located in Chantilly, VA, within an on-site client environment and requires a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Requirements

Must maintain active/current TS/SCI with a polygraph clearance.
7+ years of technical experience working in software engineering, application development, and/or web application development and deployment.
A college degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Cyber Forensics, Engineering, or a similarly related discipline, or an equivalent combination of technical experience, training, and/or military experience.
Demonstrated experience programming in multiple coding languages in a virtual environment and infrastructure, such as Debian, Python, SQL, Linux, ProxMox, Docker, Rancher, and/or Kubernetes.
7+ years of experience with developing API's in relation to cross-domain solutions, and with HA-systems.
A strong background in CI/CD relationships to cross-domain solutions and general software development.

Responsibilities

Apply a multi-disciplined approach towards applying cybersecurity tactics to both offensive and defensive perspectives.
Develop web-based systems that improve the efficiency, usability, automation and standardization of our project.
Build critical DevOps pipelines using AWS, Azure, Google technologies, GitLab CI/CD and tools like Ansible and Terraform.
Support A&A efforts.
Travel CONUS and OCONUS on occasion.
