About The Position

The Operational Reporting Analyst supports the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise operational reporting for Capital Delivery. The role produces regular and ad-hoc reporting used by senior leadership, the Executive Management Team, and the Board to monitor performance, assess risk, and support strategic decision-making. This position also contributes to data governance, analytics, and process improvement initiatives to strengthen reporting quality, consistency, and efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Experience delivering operational, performance, or enterprise-level reporting within a large, complex organization.
  • Strong analytical, data management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency with reporting and analytics tools, including Power BI, Power Query, and Excel.
  • Proven experience designing, creating, and maintaining Power BI Dataflows to centralize, standardize, and manage data from multiple source systems.
  • Strong hands-on experience using Power Query (M) within Dataflows to perform data cleansing, transformation, and normalization in alignment with defined business rules.
  • Experience configuring, scheduling, and monitoring Dataflow refreshes to support downstream Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards.
  • Working knowledge of Power Automate, with experience triggering and managing workflows based on data changes, scheduled events, and user-initiated actions.
  • Experience working with relational databases and large datasets to support reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously improve reporting processes, controls, and data quality through modeling, automation, standardization, and optimization.
  • Strong data visualization and storytelling skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and effectively to senior leadership.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective partnership with both technical and management stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly operational reporting for Pre-Implementation and Implementation projects.
  • Coordinate report submissions from project teams, perform quality and compliance checks, and follow up on outstanding or incomplete submissions.
  • Consolidate and analyze project data to prepare executive-level summaries for senior leadership, EMT, and the Board.
  • Identify and highlight risks, trends, and variances, working with project teams to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualization tools for operational performance, claims, health and safety, vendor performance, and enterprise risk reporting.
  • Understand your audience and conduct analysis to support ad-hoc requests and strategic decision-making.
  • Support data governance, centralized data management, and version-controlled reporting repositories.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities using tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, VBA, and DAX.
  • Maintain and update corporate reporting guidelines and provide training and support to project teams.

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $77,700 to $100,500 (P3 level), pay will align with skills, knowledge and experience of the candidate.
