This role is within the Prepared Foods Division and reports to the Sr. Operations Manager at the Alpharetta, GA facility. The Operational Planner manages the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure manufacturing sites and warehouses meet all deadlines. Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the complete production cycle. Monitors material and equipment availability and mitigate delays. On any given day you may, Identify the scope of work of jobs and due dates, create work orders in ERP, and monitor the progress to ensure on time completion and shipment. Monitor intercompany transfer orders, ensuring materials needed from other JBTM sites are completed and shipped on time, Coordinate with purchasing to expedite needed parts from suppliers. Coordinate with manufacturing sites and warehouses on material shortages. Update peers and leadership on job completion progress, estimated ship dates and volume. Collaborate with other departments to identify improvement opportunities in our work processes and lead or be a key team member in improvement initiatives.

Requirements

HS diploma required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations planning.
Must live within 50 miles of Alpharetta facility to be considered
Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
