About The Position

ImageFIRST is seeking Junior Military Officers (JMOs) preparing to transition into the civilian workforce for its Operational Fellowship Program. This 11-week, hands-on leadership development experience is designed to translate military leadership skills into operational excellence within the healthcare laundry services sector. The fellowship is ideal for JMOs participating in the DoD SkillBridge program or Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program, offering a direct pathway to full-time leadership roles. Participants will lead daily operations, drive process improvements, engage with customers, manage teams, analyze performance data, and collaborate with senior executives. ImageFIRST values the military background of its JMOs and offers a purpose-driven work environment with clear advancement paths.

Requirements

  • Active-duty JMOs within 180 days of separation or recently transitioned veterans
  • Eligibility for DoD SkillBridge program or Hiring Our Heroes Corporate Fellowship Program
  • Military leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead Daily Operations: Take an active role in managing plant floor activities, route logistics, and service delivery within a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and implement changes that enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
  • Engage with Customers: Participate in customer visits and service reviews to understand the impact of operational excellence and build client relationship skills.
  • Manage Teams: Apply your leadership skills by working directly with production associates, drivers, and supervisors to meet daily goals and foster a culture of accountability.
  • Analyze and Act: Use performance data and KPIs to inform decisions, track progress, and contribute to strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Executives: Work alongside General Managers, Regional Vice Presidents, and other senior leaders who are committed to your development and success.
