As an Operational Excellence Lead, you act as the primary driver for efficiency and change adoption within the warehouse by leading strategic projects. You optimize overall performance by serving as a process and operational systems expert and acting as a liaison between our distribution center teams and head office.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in operations improvement, ideally within the ecommerce industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficient in Lean principles, Six Sigma, and project management software
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, perform root cause analyses, and develop performance indicators.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and mobilize stakeholders during transitions.
  • Bilingual (French and English), both written and spoken.

Nice To Haves

  • knowledge of AutoCAD, Looker, or WMS is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Identify cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities in collaboration with department heads and support their execution.
  • Lead the continuous improvement program by prioritizing initiatives and tracking monthly performance.
  • Structure a formal change management program to ensure high user adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Conduct time studies and value-stream mapping to develop data-driven solutions. Apply Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize daily workflows.
  • Develop detailed project plans and lead multiple improvement initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budgets.
  • Deploy AI tools to support teams by simplifying administrative tasks and optimizing support processes within the distribution center.
  • Act as an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our systems (WMS, LMS, etc.) to explore and maximize potential of the functionalities offered.
  • Create performance reports and dashboards in Looker and the WMS for rigorous operational tracking.
  • Establish high-quality Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop structured training programs.
