About The Position

As Operational Excellence Associate VIE within our Operational Excellence & Performance, you’ll work closely with The Operational Excellence (OpEx) staff, engineers, and the compliance team to help solve manufacturing and facility related issues in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. You will support the biologics business unit ensuring continued delivery of high-quality products to patients. Requirements

• Ability to read, write and hold sensitive conversations in English.
• Strong Computer Skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerBI is required.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Self-starter capable of working in a high paced environment.
• Enjoy hands-on work and interest in all things mechanical and automated.
• Bachelor's Degree in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) / engineering (Preference is Chemical, Mechanical, Computer System, Electrical) or Operational Excellence.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

• 1-2 years in a similar role would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support teams in Kaizen and continuous improvement exercises.
• Support Value Stream Mapping, 5S and other operational excellence activities.
• Compile, analyze and format data for routine use in decision making and performance management.
• Build databases and digital tools to support operational excellence.
• Support supply chain robustness and continuous improvement activities.
• Review and analyze technical drawings and procedures.
• Investigate material and equipment failures.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Must have ability to get gowned and access good manufacturing practices (GMP) area and be autonomous.
