This role is critical in supply chain operations, ensuring the right materials and services are available at the right time and cost. The position focuses on driving cost savings and developing strategic supplier relationships to support production builds for Philips' Image Guided Therapy business’s Philips Laser System (PLS). The role involves analyzing Operational Material Management (OMM) KPIs, proposing and implementing corrective/preventive actions, monitoring continuous improvement, and managing master data and stock levels during the Industrialization phase for a smooth production ramp-up. Responsibilities include generating and monitoring purchase orders, resolving PO issues, validating order quantities, communicating and aligning forecasts with suppliers, planning forecasts with suppliers, and ensuring alignment between material and production planning. The role also involves monitoring unplanned procurement materials and exceptions, conducting supplier business reviews, placing orders during the Industrialization phase, implementing supply disruption mitigation strategies, managing open orders, expediting as necessary, managing customer-supplied materials, ensuring efficient supply chain operations within n-tier supplier networks, and maintaining Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software updates.
