About The Position

The Operations Manager role is the heartbeat of the local branch, leading a dedicated team of drivers, technicians, and supervisors. This role ensures routes run efficiently, customers are satisfied, and the team returns home safely. It's a dynamic position where problem-solving and leadership directly impact the community.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of operational management experience, preferably in waste management, logistics, transportation, or a similar industry.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to earn respect and communicate effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure.
  • Proficiency with fleet routing software, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located.

Nice To Haves

  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Deep understanding of DOT regulations

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of route supervisors and drivers, fostering a positive and productive culture.
  • Optimize routes and fleet deployment for maximum efficiency.
  • Champion safety protocols, including DOT compliance and leading safety meetings.
  • Manage the operational budget (P&L) and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Address and resolve complex logistical challenges to ensure client satisfaction.
