Operating Supervisor, Gas Technical Operations (GTO)
About The Position
Under general supervision of the GTO Manager, is responsible for the direction, supervision, and assignment of work to crews under his/her direction for all gas distribution activities in an assigned division of the Company. These activities include the installation, construction, maintenance, removal, repair, operation, and inspection of the gas system station facilities, as well as leak survey, gas measurement, and cathodic protection. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison), Orange & Rockland Utilities (O&R), and Consolidated Edison Transmission (CET) employees are required to follow health, safety, and environmental policies, EEO, Standards of Business Conduct, and all other applicable company policy and procedures. Requirements
- Must have general supervision experience.

- Must have experience with installation, construction, maintenance, removal, repair, operation, and inspection of gas system station facilities.
- Must have experience with leak survey, gas measurement, and cathodic protection.
