Requirements

Current CNA certification in Wisconsin
BLS/CPR certification within 3 months of hire
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting

Nice To Haves

Previous healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely transport patients to and from surgical suites.
Verify patient identity and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to transport.
Assist with patient transfers while maintaining safety, dignity, and privacy.
Communicate patient concerns, unusual symptoms, or changes in condition to nursing staff immediately.
Support PACU staff with patient transport and other assigned duties.
Provide direction, encouragement, and support to patients and family members.
Restock supplies and obtain equipment from designated hospital locations.
Assist with operating room cleaning, turnover, and preparation between surgical cases.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and assigned work areas.
Assist in orienting new team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
