About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) with trauma and neuro experience to join our team. This position is critical in providing high-quality care and support in the operating room environment.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and valid nursing license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
- Prior experience in trauma and neuro settings is mandatory.
- Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Epic.
Nice To Haves
- Charge nurse experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Assist in the surgical process by scrubbing and providing support to the surgical team.
- Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care before, during, and after surgery.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes in their condition.
