About The Position

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN), also described as an RN Operating Room Circulator, provides nursing care and services during surgical cases. The Circulating RN is responsible for positioning and prepping patients and circulating cases. The position is at Winter Haven Ambulatory Surgery Center, which performs procedures in gastroenterology, gynecological surgery, general surgery, plastic surgery, pain management, otolaryngology (ENT), podiatry, urology, orthopedics, and vascular surgery.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Nice To Haves

• PALS preferred.
